 o calving course is aimed at people new to calf rearing as well as those w
 ho would like to refresh their knowledge. We will cover the theory of youn
 gstock management from birth to weaning\, as well some basic practical ski
 lls\, such as tubing a calf.\n\n&nbsp\;\n\nKey learning objectives:\n\n 	T
 o understand the essentials of good colostrum management\n 	To understand 
 the essentials of a good environment for calf rearing\n 	To be able to con
 fidently place a tube in a calf\n 	To understand the essentials of pre-wea
 ned calf nutrition\n 	To understand how to successfully wean a calf\n 	To 
 understand the essentials of post-weaned calf nutrition\n 	To have an unde
 rstanding of the common calf diseases and treatment of these\n\n&nbsp\;\n\
