 This practical\, workshop-based course is designed for those who are looki
 ng to develop their calf-rearing skills further and have already mastered 
 the basics.\nMorning Theory and Workshops (At Shepton Practice)\nTopics in
 clude:\n\n 	Practical ways to monitor calf-rearing success\, with farm-spe
 cific examples\n 	Transition milk – to feed or not to feed?\n 	Getting t
 he most out of your vaccines: the essential principles\n\nAfternoon Practi
 cal On-Farm Skills Development (On Farm)\nSessions include:\n\n 	Environme
 ntal assessments – developing the skills to evaluate your own calf envir
 onment.\n 	Calf health assessment\, including new tools for disease monito
 ring.\n 	Automatic milk feeders – maintenance and troubleshooting.\n\nIf
  you sign up to both intro to calf rearing and then advanced calf rearing 
 course\, you receive a 10% discount.\nThose already in the Youngstock Club
  get 20% off the advanced calf rearing course.\nCourse Duration:\n1 Day (1
