What do you enjoy most about working at Shepton Vets?

The people.

What accomplishments are you most proud of in your career?

20 years faithful service with very little sick leave taken.

Can you share a memorable or heartwarming experience you’ve had with a patient or client?

During the 20 years I’ve worked for the company, I’ve had several lovely experiences and conversations with clients about their pets and their families.  I can’t single one out from the other.

What do you think sets Shepton and Wells Vets apart from competitors?

Competitive rates and committed staff.

If you could trade jobs with anyone in the company for a day, who would it be and why?

I’d like to say a forensic scientist as that would be fascinating but sadly there isn’t one within the company.

What are your hobbies or interests outside of work?

Walking, bird watching, reading, watching musicals, bargain hunting.

What is something most people don’t know about you?

In my teens, I was a member of the Who Fan Club and I bunked off school for the day when I was invited to Heathrow Airport to take part in some filming of the band flying in from the States.

What is the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Don’t put on your credit card what you can’t afford to pay off at the end of the month.
