Routine vaccinations for your pet

Vaccination helps to protect your pet from a range of common or serious infectious diseases. An initial course of injections, usually started during kitten- and puppyhood, produces an immune response towards the infection. Then regular re-vaccination, following the recommended schedule, helps to maintain that immunity lifelong. Our team can advise on the best approach and vaccination protocol depending on your pet’s individual needs and disease risks.

Parasite control

Parasites such as fleas, ticks and worms can cause a range of issues for your pets and can pose a risk to human health as well. We can advise on safe and effective products, and the best combination and frequency of treatments to use according to your pet’s specific needs and levels of risk.

Regular health checks

Regular health assessments at the practice help us monitor your pet’s health, address any ongoing concerns you may have and allows to spot any changes or abnormalities early, before they develop into something more serious. We usually recommend an annual health check for healthy adult pets, usually at the time of their vaccination booster, but we may recommend more frequent health checks for more senior patients or those at risk of health problems. Younger pets are offered monthly weight and development checks with our nurses.

Nurse clinics

Our nurses are able to help with a whole range of preventative healthcare advice and services, from nail clipping, tick removal and help with grooming, to weight management support, dietary advice and help with dental care.

“Fantastic vets, saved my dogs life. He is an old boy who has just had an emergency operation to remove a kidney. From the outset we were kept informed throughout the day and the love and attention they are given Musky is very impressive. Thank you.”
