Polly Cornwell

Veterinary Surgeon

Polly is a highly experienced small animal veterinarian committed to providing exceptional care for your pets. With a passion for exotics.

Polly graduated from Bristol University in 1997, fell in love with the West Country, and has lived here ever since.

After 2 years in mixed practice in Gloucester, she moved to a companion animal practice in Bristol where she developed her interests in pet behaviour and exotic pet medicine.

While working there, Polly achieved a Diploma in Companion Animal Behaviour Therapy (from the Centre of Applied Pet Ethology) and an Improve Certificate in Exotic Animal Practice, and ran a referral service for exotic pets.

In 2015 Polly and her husband moved to a smallholding just outside Wells, where they keep Jacob’s sheep, chickens and horses, aided and abetted by Phyllis the cat and Bella the rescued Labrador.

Polly had already worked as a locum for Shepton Vets several times and was delighted to join the team permanently in the new Wells practice this Autumn.
