Our well-stocked dispensary and prescription service ensures your pet receives the medications they need, when they need them. For convenience and flexibility we offer an online ordering service for repeat medications, and written prescriptions on request.

Choice and Convenience: Obtain Prescription-Only-Medicines – Category V (POM-Vs) from your attending veterinary surgeon or choose to request a written prescription for acquisition from another veterinary surgeon or pharmacy.

The right medications for your pet, supplied to suit you

During your consultation, if your pet requires treatment, the vet will prescribe the most appropriate medication for their needs and we can supply their medication there and then from our dispensary, or order it in for you if it is a non-stock item.

If you prefer, the vet can supply you with a written prescription to enable you to obtain the medication from another veterinary practice or pharmacy.

For ongoing conditions or medications, our veterinary surgeons can prescribe repeat medications but we will need to see your pet for re-examination frequently enough to ensure the medication and dosage is still appropriate for your their condition and needs.The frequency of re-examination will depend on each case’s individual circumstances but, in general, we will need to re-examine patients at least once every 12 months for the prescription of flea and worm treatments, and at least every 6 months for treatment for ongoing health conditions

Repeat prescriptions medications can be ordered for collection at the practice, via our website, What’s App or by calling us. Please give at least 24 hours notice.
