Your Trusted Veterinary Care in Somerset

Shepton and Wells vets - Eloise and Rachel with puppies

Since 1922 our commitment to providing exceptional veterinary care has stood the test of time. Our Shepton Mallet practice has continued to grow and develop to provide extensive facilities and a highly skilled team, offering a comprehensive service for you and your pet. In 2018 we were delighted to open our first small animal branch in Wells, working alongside our main Shepton centre to provide more choice to pet owners in the area. Alongside colleagues in our Farm department, our strong Pets team of highly skilled clinicians and customer care staff work solely within our small animal department. Having these dedicated teams enables us to offer tailored and expert care for every animal, no matter how large or small.

Our large Pets team, working together across both clinics, is a happy family of individuals with a wide range of interests, skills and experience. The further qualifications and experience of some of our team, alongside our well-equipped facilities, means that we we are able to offer some diagnostic and surgical services that might normally require referral to a specialist facility further away. Sharing knowledge and drawing on the diverse strengths of our team allows us to offer expert, tailored care and advice for every stage of your pet’s life, whether they are poorly or well.
