Anna grew up locally on a mixed farm in North Somerset. She graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2012, after a short stint working in Cornwall as a farm intern, she returned to Somerset and joined Shepton Vets as an assistant in 2013.

Whilst enthusiastic about all aspects of farm practice, Anna enjoys getting out to her see her routine clients and supporting them to improve their herd’s performance. She carries out Laparoscopic LDA corrections and trains new vets to become laparoscopic surgeons. Anna is one of our AI course trainers and runs AI refresher courses.

Anna has developed a keen interest in robotic milking and has attended the Lely Farm advisors course. Utilising data from robots to support improvements on farm is an area Anna enjoys.

Anna is married with 2 children, she met her husband while correcting a uterine torsion out of hours as a young vet. These days she is often referred to as ‘Old Anna’ as we have two Anna’s on the farm team!
