Farm Animal Vet
Director
Charlie began his career after qualifying from the Royal Veterinary College in 2012 – he’s been a farm vet ever since and came to Shepton Vets in January 2015.
Primarily Charlie is a dairy vet, but he likes to transfer his fertility and lameness skills across to beef work from time to time.
Charlie enjoys supporting clients to ensure that their businesses are profitable and robust.
Charlie is our udder health and milk quality expert. Genetics, automatic milking systems, livestock building design are also areas Charlie has extra knowledge in.
Charlie completed his Certificate in Dairy Herd Health at University College Dublin in 2018 – a two-year course to hone knowledge and practical skills in all key areas of dairy production.
Charlie and his wife Becky run their own robotic dairy farm. Any free time they have left, is spent on rugby, shooting and getting outdoors with his dog.
