Rosie attended the University of Liverpool for her veterinary training. Since qualifying in 2013, she has gained her Certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (Cattle) and a Postgraduate Certificate in Veterinary Professional Studies. She is a RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Cattle Health and Production.

Rosie worked in farm practice in Yorkshire for several years before moving to Somerset. During this time, she did a secondment as a Veterinary Inspector Officer (VIO) at APHA Thirsk, where she gained additional experience in post-mortem examinations.

Rosie is a mobility mentor and runs our Healthy Feet Scheme. She leads our post-mortem service and enjoys both herd and flock health planning.

Rosie is part of the student teaching team, supporting Bristol students when they come to Shepton as part of their rotation. She organises our winter discussion groups and is an integral part of the farm team.

Outside of work, Rosie is a keen paraglider, skier, mountain biker, and runner. She has a German Pointer named Ginny who likes to share in her adventures.
