What do I enjoy most about working at Shepton Vets?

I enjoy the team atmosphere here, how important and well respected Shepton vets are in the community

I am always striving to give all animals that come in the best possible veterinary care and I am passionate about educating owners to make sure their animals live as healthily and happily as possible. Despite the bad press that vets often are given my passion in the industry is to make sure the public know that we become vets for our love of animals and our drive to treat them as best as we are able and to always do what is best for the animal.

What are my primary responsibilities?

I am responsible for treating animals in consultations, more complex medical investigations, and routine surgeries as well as seeing emergencies and out of hours work
I once cared for two puppies on my own all weekend with life threatening parvovirus infection. After some intensive care and lots of TLC they both made it through. The owner was so grateful she named one of the puppies after me and gave me a framed photo of her when I moved onto another practice.

Any pets at home?

A dog named Tarka
