Formally, Sue is recognised by the title above – however she is trying to get HPC Commander to stick, but thats yet to be approved. 

Her previous experience in practice management brings valuable skills to her role. Sue’s loves cats and her work and her commitment to fostering animals in need demonstrates it. She is a valued member of the Shepton Vets team, contributing to the friendly and welcoming atmosphere of the practice.

Where have I worked previously ?

The Park Medical Practice for 17 years as the Practice Management Team assistant.

What do you enjoy most about working at Shepton Vets?

The Team is great to work with, nice friendly workmates. Also getting to cuddle kittens and puppies.

What are you passionate about, in your work, for Shepton vets, In the veterinary industry?  

I am a cat person through and through, but love the quirky characters of some of the animals that come in.

What are your primary responsibilities?  

I deal with all the Healthy Pets Club admin and send out the vaccination/Flea and worm reminders. 

Do you have animals at home? 

2 Cats and 1 dog , oh and 5 goldfish/ and he odd foster kitten (or more) from Compassion for cats 

Freddie the Schnauser x and then Yumi DSH, Peanut another rescue from Compassion 4 cats who I kept, and I spoil rotten.

What do you think sets Shepton and Wells Vets apart from competitors?  

Its independent vets and all the staff are professional and love animals. Everyone is so friendly, and it is a relaxed place to work. We offer 24-hour care and do so much in house compared to other vets in the area. I have seen the Vets and nursing staff go above and beyond to help a poorly pet.

What are your hobbies or interests outside of work?  

I am learning Korean; I like watching K Drama’s and C drama. All arts and crafts and reading when I get time. Being with my two sons and watching films/ or playing board games.

What is something most people don’t know about you?  

I was born in Mombasa Africa, as very long time ago. And lived there for a short time.

What is your favourite book/movie/podcast, and why?  

Memoirs of a Geisha Book or anything by Agatha Christie, House of the flying daggers Movie. My favourite K drama is Something in the rain.
