Full or Part Time Small Animal Vet Required

Cider country is calling………. come and join our fun and professional team.

We are looking to expand our 8 vet, INDEPENDENT, enthusiastic and progressive small animal team here at Shepton & Wells Vets.  We offer job satisfaction and a great work-life balance and are proud to cover our own out of hours in a sensible rota (1 in 7 weekends), providing our community with continuity of care. Community is a core value for us and we care about our work family too – social events are encouraged (albeit virtual at present!).

We’re looking for a people person, whether full- or part-time, to fit into our supportive team and to take care of our growing base of friendly clients.  Together the team works hard to provide excellence in clinical care, encouraging freedom to follow cases but offering back-up if required. We’re not scared to invest in our practice or our team, with great facilities including internal lab, endoscopy and laparoscopy, and support for colleagues in gaining post-graduate qualifications.

In 2018 we expanded with our branch practice in Wells, alongside our long standing purpose-built practice in Shepton Mallet, and are looking for a passionate individual to help drive both clinics forward into our centenary year of 2022 and beyond. In return we offer a competitive salary (including bonuses for out of hours work) and relocation package.

We believe that work is most fulfilling when we’re progressing and we actively encourage input from the whole team in the decisions that help move us forward.
