Shepton Vets has been independently owned since we first opened our doors in 1922. For over 100 years, we have remained committed to providing trusted, professional veterinary care to pets, livestock and the people who care for them across Somerset and the surrounding areas.

We are an independently owned veterinary practice, not part of a large corporate veterinary group. Our independence is an important part of who we are and how we work.

Based in Shepton Mallet, with our small animal practice in Wells, our dedicated teams provide veterinary services for both pets and farm animals. We combine generations of experience and strong local relationships with modern facilities, ongoing development and a commitment to high standards of animal care.

Being independently owned means we remain focused on our clients, our patients and our local community. Our directors work within the practice, helping us understand the needs of the people and animals we serve and supporting the team that delivers their care.

We are proud of our history, but we are equally focused on the future. As veterinary medicine continues to evolve, we will continue to invest in our people, our facilities and the services we offer, while holding on to the values that have guided us since 1922: professional expertise, a personal approach and genuine care for animals.
