Colin Hayden

Colin is a fully audited Level 4 cattle foot trimmer who grew up in Somerset and has spent his entire career in the farming industry. His passion for agriculture began at a young age when a family friend introduced him to farming, and he would regularly spend weekends helping out on their farm.

Colin later attended Brymore Academy, which helped cement his path into the industry. He began his career working as a dairy herds person before developing an interest in hoof care and training in cattle foot trimming alongside a veterinary practice.

After gaining valuable experience, Colin spent a period working independently as a self-employed foot trimmer. His practical background in dairy farming gives him a strong understanding of herd health and the importance of proactive hoof care.

Colin now lives on a farm with his wife and their two dogs. Outside of work, he enjoys clay pigeon shooting and spending time in the countryside.
