A teaser is a ram which still has all the testosterone but can’t impregnate a ewe. Teasers are ideal to help tighten lambing and bring forward the mating period.

It’s a small operation, but needs done at least 6 weeks before you plan on using your teaser. Selection of teasers is key to ensure they are fit to do the job and will last in the flock.
